Fairs of Faridabad District

The major fairs organised in Faridabad district are as follows:

  • Kanha Gaushala Fair This fair is organised at Bahin Faridabad in the month of Phalgun, Panchmi (February - March). The fair is commemorated in the memory of Dada Kanha Rawat of Rawat Jats. Thus, the fair is organised in the cow - shed which is located at the same place.
  • Phooldor Fair This fair is organised at Attar Chattha village in Faridabad in the month of Chaitra (March - April) on 2nd day of Krishna Paksha. It is commemorated in the memory of Baba Bakshinath.
  • Kalka Fair This fair is organised at Mohna village in Faridabad in the month of Chaitra (March - April) on 8th day of Shukla Paksha. This fair is organised due to the worship of Mata Kalka Devi.
  • Gugga Pir Fair This fair is organised at Bahbalpur village in Faridabad in the month of Bhadrapada (August - September) on Shukla Paksha Navami. It is commemorated in the memory of Gugga Pir.
  • Janmashtami Fair This fair Is organised at Dhatir village in Faridabad district. It is organised in the month of Bhadrapad on Krishna Paksha Ashtami (August - September). In this fair, wrestling is organised which is an important feature of this fair.
